My Words

Hello My name is Ahmed Faruk Uslu. In this text, I will give you some information about, my career planning and experimentation, personal information.

We can start with my career planning firstly;

Because of my experience and my ability, I want to work in an international and institutional firm which is in service sector. My first internship was in a production company; I worked in quality and engineering department and prepared production planning. My second internship was in Siemens Medical in Istanbul. I worked in IT department; in this department we made marketing and selling about hospital software and information systems. In Siemens, I took charge in some projects, and went to some customer visit. It was very exciting for me, and I did love my job. After those internships I decided that, service sector is exactly for me. On the other hand, due to that I am a passionate, naturally aware, inquisitive, logical, clear communicator; I work in the service sector easily. I can see the system as a whole, so that think rational. In addition, I love working with people nested. Therefore, owing to my skills and experience, I desire to work in service sector. In this sector, I aim to work in an international and institutional company and be useful for the company over long term period.

Now we can go on with my experimentation;

Between January 2008 and April 2008 I did internship in a production company which is called Anadolu Metalurji. In those 4 months period, I learned lots of things. To improve myself and my knowledge I worked in workplace as a worker, I made there lathe, milling, welding, assembling, disassembling and etc... After that, I worked in quality and engineering department. I made time study, method study and in the end production planning for 4 months. Sum up, in Anadolu Metalurji, I improve myself about team working, project management and production planning.

One year after studying in Anadolu Metalurji, between January 2009 and April 2009 I did internship in Siemens in Istanbul. This internship period was very important for me, because after that period I decided to work in IT in service sector. In Siemens, I worked in department of healthcare IT and made there some projects. The most important project which I made is Return on investment for PACS project. In this project I searched benefits of PACS, then classified the benefits for some criteria, finally made cost analysis. Another project is market research for Hospital Information System in Turkey. It is aim to decide road map for Hospital information System market. Consequently, in that internship period I improve myself in project management area and team working area.

And now my personal information, skills, abilities and hobbies

  • I am a hard working, logical, inquisitive, passionate and rational person. I learn easily.
  • I have advanced level English for writing, reading, listening and speaking.
  • I have basic level Russia. And my native language is Turkish.

    For using computer, I am good at;

  • AutoCad,
  • Arena Simulation,
  • Lingo and Lindo

    Finally my hobbies are;

  • Badminton,
  • swimming,
  • windsurfing,
  • football & basketball,
  • water sports
  • I like dangerous sports. I think they are very exciting.
